I don't think that or ever was the point of Evilbore. Evilbore has had more of a closed door policy since its inception than GAF or OA.

Also, if you want to talk about people being given chances, he was given one.

And in my own personal opinion, I wouldn't mind seeing him back here. But I also don't care if he's not.

Futami broke the rules, and at a level that required banning. I know you all don't like calcifer much, and I cant say I enjoy reading his slanted opinion on gaming either. Still, he has not broken a rule, and doesnt have a history with half of the members of this forum that involves breaking rules. I am pretty sure that while his opinions are dumb, he wont take it beyond that and for that reason alone, it is your responsibility as a member of this forum to use the tools we have provided to ignore him if you can't just parse it as you read.

Weren't you the one making a point of a poster's history? Rattling off half a dozen known quantities who like to joke around isn't the same as a guy who's probably someone's alt and has nothing to do here but make lame disruptive "jokes." If he posted normally at OT I wouldn't care.

But I wasn't making a serious bid for calcifer's banning, I was saying that I don't see why the high road must be taken with futami but not with a contrarian JC that already posts here.

I'd estimate that like 1/10th of my collection is crap/ironically purchased, although I have curtailed that buying behaviour by pirating the crap movies.
