:bow it's always sunny in philadelphia :bow2

Seasons 1 and 3 are on Hulu.  I'm guessing they omitted season 2 to encourage DVD sales.

I love this show. I wish I could find a clip of the episode where they're at the dump and Charlie comes screaming down a mountain of trash, smacking garbage on the way with a sword he found.

Charlie: Dude, you could totally chop a camel in its hump and drink all its milk off the... off the tip of this thing, man!
Frank: That is a FIND.
Charlie: It's an Ali Baba sword!
Frank: It's spectacular!

I used to think Danny DeVito was something of a square peg on the show, but I've come to like his character as much as anyone else's.  I kinda think the first season is the best when ranked on certain criteria (ie. it is the least overtly wacky season), and I think I kinda blamed DeVito for that "era" going away.  Now, I really don't care anymore because the show is still generally fucking hilarious.

So your experience with the show is pretty much exactly mine. :P

Only mine has taken place over its entire run.

I was there from the beginning! I can't say that about many shows anymore, if any.

I think if I was watching it as it went, I would have been turned off.  The first few devito eps are really ehhhh

I remember bitching my head off, but I try to stick with shows until they have no redeeming value or potential whatsoever. The first season was so fucking awesome, that I had faith it'd be awesome once again.
