Yeah, I really hope they reprise a lot of the characters between the two movies. Like a reunion tour for Johnny 5.

Best keep your expectations down. It will more than likely be a reimagination, feel nothing like the original, Steve Carell voicing Johnny X, CG with a farting robot, and the only reference to the original will be a quick glimpse at a Johnny 5 toy from SC2 in a toystore. It's bound to be a feel good childhood raping.
