That can't be what I think it is.

It's just some totally unrelated production which has adopted the fine Asian tradition of slapping on a popular trademarked figure to get attention.

I'd heard about the Evil Dead Musical before (I recall reading something about it on mefi a couple of years back), but the added ching chong angle makes it even more crazy.

Not really. I'm just unwilling to believe that there is a Korean Evil Dead musical. Japanese Spider-Man? Fine. Bizarre ads for everyday products starring A-list Western actors? Cool. Korean Evil Dead musical?  I'm sorry, but some things just cross the lines of sense.
