Stolen from the imitation GAF forum. Pretty interesting that next-gen seems to be mostly about lighting and shadowing.
Looks like the game should be playable on most PCs although the framerate drops are huge going from high to low.

that looks disgusting either way... wtf
edit:
oh shit it's a gif... ok that's better

Yeah, nice use of 2560x1600 .gifs for screenshot comparisons.
-
does this use DX10? From my experience very few games run well with DX10 stuff turned on. Even the muzzle flashes in CoH caused issues.

My sentiments exactly.

The devs claim that the DX10 mode doesn't have visual enhancements over the DX9 but surprisingly DX10 should deliver better performance.
-
I know there was one game that did DX10 ok but I forgot what it was. I have a decent pc and I just say no to DX10 right now

Lost Planet? It runs pretty well in DX10.
DX10 has been disappointing though. It was supposed to deliver substance improvements in effects and framerate over DX9.
I don't know if the lackluster performance is due to videocard hardware/drivers or DX10 itself. I hope it's the former so that DX10 can eventually deliver on its promise.

Looks like PS3 v 360 version to me.
-
I really like this game
-
Yeah, very strange that the PC version looks substantially worse than the consoles versions. Maybe its a different team working on the port.

Demi mentioned that the GIF format has a negative impact on image quality. Also, the PICS are zoomed in because they are in higher resolutions than most people's mons.
They look pretty good when I saved them to my PC and use Windows' image viewer to view them.

Call of WAREZ Juarez
or whatever it was called.
DX10 made a big difference.
It runs like crap though, especially on Nvidia hardware. A pair of 8800 GTX Ultras still aren't capable of running COJ with maxed out settings in higher than 1280x1024.
