From their website, posted April 3
Eidos-Montréal is proud to announce the recruitment for our 2nd “AAA” project.
… A hint! The title begins with the letter “ T ”…
Thief 4
-
The Xcom 2
-
Transformers: The Movie 2!
-
The Real Housewives of Orange County: the tv series: The game
-
I am going to guess your incorrect usage is some Dutch thing
-
I can never tell you all apart
-
u mad?
-
Demi, you forgot Poland.
-
Who?
-
X-COM 2 is being done by T2 Austrilia if it is still being done at all.
Eidos is making a good call going back to the Thief and Deus Ex franchises. People would really like updates to them, both are really popular, and, most importantly, a hit for either game would be a real help in getting someone to finally buy Eidos. :)

dumb to let a completely inexperienced studio handle such prestigious properties
-
Plenty of people from EA Montreal are there, they cant be that inexperienced...
/me looks at EA Montreal track record

Thief 3 was one of my favourite games last gen in spite of general consensus.
If Thief 4 is as good as that, I'll be happy.
If it's worse, I'll cry like a little girl.
-
Thief 3, despite the smaller level sizes, is my favorite of the series. The first two games were awesome when they were awesome, but about half of each game is composed of terible, unfun levels.

I assume you're talking about the zombie levels. Those were shit.
-
The zombie levels weren't tooooo bad, but I could have done without them.
I love Thief 3 so much, I don't want to finish it. I've owned it since launch, and rationed it by playing a bit every few months. I'm fairly near the end now though. :(

Shalebridge Cradle in Thief 3.....
:rock
-
I never played a Thief game.

You aren't missing much

I never played a Thief game.
Me neither, but it's intriguing to see that a lot of people who traditionally detest stealth games rave about this series.
-
You aren't missing much
they're usually ok at the beginning but by the end they just kind of suck.

I actually think it's the other way around. I like the supernatural twists the games throw at you. If it was nothin' but straight up thievin' the entire way through I don't think I'd like the series as much as I do.
And to anyone that hasn't played a Thief game, boot up Steam and download Thief 3. The game still looks decent by today's standards and while it isn't as big as The Metal Age it has some of the best missions in the series. Shalebridge Cradle imo is still one the creepiest sections ever put into a videogame.
Great, great game.

I love sneaking around in the shadows, hitting people on the back of the head, and stealing everything that's not nailed down.
I play Elder Scrolls in much the same way. But it seems not many people like this type of gameplay?
