Title: Where's a good site to look for some new music?

I keep not liking Pitchfork more and more as I read more of their stuff, and I feel they're becoming way too geared towards electronic music now.  And plus, well, you know, Pitchfork is just a bunch of pricks.  Is there a similar site out there that DEALS with underground music but offers more and is a bit more...I don't know, NOT elitist?

TinyMixTapes.com is the best music news/review site I've had the pleasure of surfing. 

Stereogum is along the same lines as Pitchfork and a little less obnoxious with the aimless elitistism (at least in my experience with it; I don't read it all that often). 

And I like the A.V. Club's editorials, but their album reviews are often skimpy and pretty far off the mark.  Not too bad for finding new stuff occasionally, though.

Pitchfork is still the best source for news, regardless of what you think of their editorials.

Beyond that, there are thousands of blogs.  I'll post a few of my favorites later -- I don't have them bookmarked on this PC.

vice, even though the rest of that magazine is run by a bunch of fagbags these days they still have good cd reviews.

There's a site called hype machine that just collects everything all the stupid music blogs have posted for fucks to check out. I keep forgetting to go there/bookmark it. There's also always pandora if they're not blocked where you are.

I forgot about last.fm and pandora.com -- those are both good if you have a particular sound in mind.

it's free, and good for scoping out new artists.
