i've had great luck with allcheapfares.com and farefox.com

kayak is okay too, but it's rarely the cheapest.

I've had good luck with Hotwire. Also, as said above, check out the airlines website because it's sometimes cheaper.

I'd watch who you fly with, with all these shutdowns

The only way to get really good prices is to book 9 months in advance or the day of the flight.
