Title: R6 Vegas Realistic harder than COD Veteran?

Maybe I'm just rusty. Last achievement I unlocked was a year ago.

It's possible.  I checked out realistic mode on the PC this morning. 

At first, it was pretty easy.  I quickly took down all the enemies until the part where they prompt me to throw a smoke grenade.

Twice, I died in that same spot so I just stopped playing.  On realistic, the enemies seem to react much quicker so you're dead once you're in the open.

Your health seems to regenerate slower than COD's too, and your screen is pitch black when you are near death so anyone could just pop up and cap you

I had to give up on that mode at the level where you are climing the stairs in the hotel, like 5 levels.


So insane.


At least with Vegas it is an actual game you are playing.  Tough but fun.

Sheild will NOT save your ass form those fucking turret guns.

Are you on that level yet?  You will NOT beat it on realistic.

Checkpoints are so few and far between, COD did something right at least

That is part of the obvious flaw.  The game is frustrating and it really is something you have little control over.  So instead of trying to conquer a section of warzone, you just make mad dashes to the next checkpoints and cap fools as you go.  It's lame.


Vegas could use a few more checkpoints on veteran but at least there is a real skillset required.

Yea, but it still miles better than cod4.  That is why I had to take the difficulty down a notch.  Too much....
