it really picks up in season three, but good lord

When you say it picks up in season 3, does that mean skip the first 2?

whoops.  typo. 

series 1 is all lead up stuff.  i didn't like the first two episodes when i watched them the first time.  then i came back to them and the whole show just clicked for me and i didn't stop watching until i blew through all thee series in a week (this was before series 4 was out)

series 2 the characters are a bit more familiar so they can kind of twist stuff for us.

series 3 it shows you how you can get everything you want and still be a miserable mess of a man.

series 4.  jesus christ. 

it all builds, so it help if you don't skip them, and they're only about 3 hours per series, so it's not like it's a huge time sink.

this is all horrible drama if you think about it.  but it's the way it's told that makes it absolutely side splitting comedy.

One of my favorite shows ever!!!!

The second to last episode is still the funniest episode I've seen of anything ever.

TVC, you would love the humor in this.  You have to check it out.

In the second to last episode where Jeremy actually eats "mummy" i couldn't stop laughing.  It was fucking hysterical.  Mark is so fucking gay and in hardcore denial.  JOHNSON!  I don't really love Johnson, do I?  I don't know!  "At least you know where you stand with a cock"

Basically, each series outdoes the previous one in absurdity. i really don't know how much further they can go without turning the characters into parodies of themselves as with the Simpsons.

i thought you had already started watching it, TVC. i recommended it months ago.

I'm pretty sure it's completely done.  They only had a set storyline to create the show around...

man, i love this show--it's one of the funniest shows i've ever seen. it's worthy of being on the same list as seinfeldand some other shows :bow cajole, you're missing out

Huh, apparently knowing and loving Mitchell and Webb but not knowing about Peep Show makes me some sort of reverse Polish Britcom fan.

None of my regular torrent haunts have it, so I'm not sure what to do :(
