Title: America confuses me.
Post by: Cheebs on November 06, 2006, 04:01:28 PM
During the Kerry "joke" days last week the Democrat lead shrunk to a 4%-7% lead yet in polls from Fox and CNN among others out today that are in the days after the joke it went back up to 15%ish.  It wasn't polling "errors" since 2-3 polls showed the drop during the joke and 2-3 polls show the rise on the weekend.

Who the hell is this 10% of America who changes their mind every 10 seconds?  :lol

I will fucking poop in Kerry's mouth if he blows this election for the Democrats.  The momentum took a definite hit when he did that fucking joke bullshit.  Before this incident, everyone was slinging mud at the Republicans non-stop and it was looking like the Dems would streamroll into the Senate.

Now, he's given the White House something to bitch about.

One of the polls said 19% of Independents said that Kerry's comments made them reconsider voting for Democrats. But that was from the polls when Democrat momentum was down before it went back up on weekend.

wtf Kerry.

Edit: I just saw on the news that Jim Webb is saying that in VA out of state Republicans are calling Democrats informing them that their polling location has been moved. Evil.  :lol

No, the "Kerry Joke". I haven't been paying much attention to the elections these days. :-[

Something like
"If you study hard you can get somewhere in life, if you don't you get stuck in Iraq."

actually, the joke was "if you don't study hard, you might get sent to iraq" which implies that our soldiers weren't smart enough to avoid duty. he MEANT was Cheebs said, but it came out like what I said.

It takes a special kind of man to lose a battle of wits against President Bush.

Well, the honest truth is, middle America still feels more comfortable in terms of security/economy with the Republicans in charge. The Democrats have done nothing in terms of rectifying their image problems in that regard.

So, unless the [R] incumbent is some sort of creep (Santorum, DeWine, Allen) people will probably keep the status quo. The economy is in decent shape around much of the country and the Iraq war is a mess, but lacks the Vietnam level of casualities to cause America great concern.

I saw the recent Pew study that showed many of the remaining "undecided's" are Republican voters. So expect them to close
gap in alot of races that were leaning Democrat. Just depends on each individual race.

Wait, maybe it's like the immovable object vs the irresistible force--the only thing jackassy enough to make Kerry look like a complete fucknut is Kerry himself.  Oooh... makes you think.

Wait, I read this in a superman comic:

THEY SURRENDER!
