Sony's DualShock 3 controller for the PlayStation 3 came out in Japan late last year and debuted in the United States just last week, but until now, Aussie gamers have had no indication as to when they could expect the new peripheral. It seems we won't have long to wait, however, as Sony has confirmed that the DualShock 3 will be available in Australia on April 24 for A$99.95 ($92) and in New Zealand on May 9 for NZ$109.95. In the US, the controller retails for $54.99.
US$92 for the same fucking thing. I got mine from Play-Asia for AUS$55. Our exchange rate is 90c+ to the US$. Fucking cheap cunts, the Spastix controller is already AUS$80.

whoa, thats steep
still nothing compared to Nintendo's long term gouging down here though, Sony gaming products have been reasonably priced comparitively in the past
