Yes, quit gaming on a cigarillo laptop and make a real machine
Or just get the 360 version MORON

I don't game on PCs period, you homo. I'm just asking because I ordered a laptop yesterday that should be coming in next week.

laptops arent for gaming, have fun doing your homework on it

added bonus-it's cheaper! Though it is important to note that ME probably will not have a monster mod community like a BG or NWN did.
Though I will probably get this to play during the summer. I liked what I played on the 360, but the not-really-nextgen graphics and crappy console interface convinced me to wait for the PC port.

Bioware is probably underrating the requirements. When Kotor was released, it ran like crap even on high end PCs of the time. NWN2 didn't run very well either until several patches and better hardware were available.

I think in some cases what the publisher consider "good" performance isn't what the end user believes is good performance, to be honest. A lot of people were fine with a RPG having some framerate issues-of course, thing was that some of us play on the PC just so we can keep away from that ghetto.
ME does run on UE3 which is blistering fast on the PC. So maybe they aren't too far off.

That's true. Console gamers have very different expectations from PC gamers. 30fps at 720P would be considered gaming ghetto for most PC enthusiasts and that 30fps isn't even very reliable on consoles.
My main concern with ME is how well it would be optimized. Gears of War, also a UE3 game, had a very high framerate even with max settings but it had lots of quirks which detracted greatly from the overall experience.
