damn, Amazon raised the price on those Holmes books, I was gonna share em with the class

They had 'em at $8 each for some reason, so I paid $16 + free shipping instead of $95 + tax

i was watching the anime but lost patience

i figured i could read faster than i could watch it.

it's 18 volumes long and it finishes in december of this year so i figure it will give me a neat project.

i fully support both of these choices

and i'm curious what you think of Let's Scare.

I think you'd also be interested in Ganja and Hess and Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural

The brief description of the movie reminded me of Robert Altman's super awesome Images, although this sounds like it's more playing up horror than the psychological thriller angle of Altman's.  And the description I read was rather brief, so who knows--it may not be similar at all.

i did a thread on that movie here not to long ago

there's a lot of the psychological elements, but there's also a strong bit of the horror as well.  but it doesn't really overwhelm the film

Aw yeah buddy, was rockin out on an ibanez the other day at SamAsh:

It's a sick nasty metal guitar.  The guitarist from Necrophagist uses them. :rock  Thinking of eventually picking up that or a Jackson Warrior (basically the same shape).

I think that guitar looks ugly :(

I also think Gibson Les Paul's are one of the ugliest guitars around. I prefer the classic Stratocaster shape the most.

Oh so you're going with the S series over the RG, makes sense the S's look more like strats.   :-*
