I'm not sure if the retail stores are having this sale too.  There are conflicting reports online. 

Demi, this is a good deal if you haven't picked up a processor yet.

How long is this sale for? Will it go with that motherboard you linked?

Yes, the Q6600 will work with the MB that I linked. 

It doesn't seem like they have a definitive date on when the sale will end.

Q6600 is still a really solid price/performance winner. Really fine procesor, and that's a really nice price too.

I might jump in on one to replace my overclocked E6400 depending on how much the HVAC repair duder rapes me for tomorrow.   :-\
