-
i could, havent got the map pack though
also i still kinda hate the game
-
i've had it since thursday but haven't installed it yet
i may end up hating it, too
-
I have it but haven't played it in like a month.
-
Eh, it's okay
Still don't care for the DS3 as a FPS controller
I'm glad I only paid $27 for it
Maybe now that the price has shitcanned that low people will buy it and play it and the mods will be cool
If not, then it's still good for a quick bot match when you're bored, I suppose

You can use a mouse and keyboard if you want to. There's some nice mods available, including one that speeds up the game to be like the PC version. I don't play the game much myself, but it's pretty solid.
-
The speedup mod still keeps the framerate at 30fps. Even with KB+M, the PS3 version can't duplicae the PC experience.
There's no reason to get the PS3 version if your PC isn't older than 3 yrs old. UT3 is one of those games that can be tweaked to run with decent graphics at 60fps on most PCs.
-
I didn't realize it was only 30fps on PS3, they'd better fix that on 360.

It'll be 30fps on 360 as well.
:gloomy budget console hardware :gloomy
On a related note, it's interesting that the PS3 version only ran at 30fps because UT3 is one of the few games that is more CPU limited than GPU limited.
At low resolutions, such as 720p, frameate in UT3 is more often constrained by CPU power. It's interesting that even with Cell's supposed power, UT3 still runs at only 30fps.
Guess the Cell isn't more powerful than a high end Quad-core Intel processor like some people think.

Fuck it, I'm getting Haze now.

Hey, that's actually the exact setup I use to play UT3 on PS3.
I tried playing UT3 with the Dual Shock 3 last night at MrSingh's house. I found it absolutely unplayable. My thumbs keep hitting when I try to circle-strafe because the two pads are so close together. Busted legacy design :gloomy

I dunno; I play it with a pad and do just fine.
