Yeah, I never buy bottled water.  Why should I pay such a huge markup for a resource that should be affordable to all?  Plus, technically many of these companies get their water from tax payer supported municipal water supplies, which is the purified.  Thus, their profits are huge.  Why support companies who blatantly try to make profits from a heavily subsidized resource?  I drink water straight from the tap.

The city tap water here is disgusting.  There is so much sediment in it that it gives it a yellowish color, and if left to set for a day or two it'll all settle to the bottom.  So...I buy bottled water all the time :(

 :lol

The tap water here is pretty bad unless it's through a filter.

I drink tap water through a filter too. I find it tastes too metallic if I drink it raw.

I only buy bottled water if I am outside and am really thirsty.

I've even bought PUR filters for my faucet here, but it doesn't help.  The filter works for about a week and then afterwards, the water comes out so slow that it'd be faster to run across the street to get a bottle of it myself.  I didn't have this problem with the filters at my previous apartments...the water here is just bad.

We get orange/brown stains in our sinks, bathtub, etc from the water too.  I can't wait to move :(

Where the hell do you live? Compton? Didn't you see the video? The fucking tapwater from New York straight from a bathroom sink looked fine, and I dunno about you, but New York is a fucking bucket of nasty. You'd have to live in Satan's vaginal cavity to get water as bad as you're talking about.

Clean the bullshit out of your head.

NY water is fine, or at least LI water is.

San Diego water, now that's shit.

SMH @ the culture tards in that video. Do people dress like that in NY?   :lol

Tap water here is pretty good. I love busting people's bubbles with respect to bottled water: often it's just tap water in a fucking bottle. I only buy bottled water if I'm about to do some heavy yard work, or go to the gym.

if you put Houston tap water in a bottle and put it in the fridge, tastes the same as bottled water to me

This stuff is good.  Restaurants usually charge too much for it though.

Strangely enough, despite Memphis being a pretty crappy area our water is quite good.

at least the Reds can't control your mind.
Both the Reds AND the Bungles couldn't control anybody's mind. Much less somebody as hardheaded as TA.

It's San Pellegrino.

Like this stuff, though I swapped over to Apollinaris a while back after I had some issues with fizziness in my Pellegrino.

You think I'm making it up?  :lol

I normally don't have a problem with tap water.  I used to drink the hell out of the well water we used to have at my parents house.  When I go to the gym, I fill the same bottle of water through their drinking fountains.  I get no pleasure out of paying for bottled water.  I bought a water softener when I first moved in hoping that it would alleviate the problem a bit, but it turns out the landlords welded the pipes that the water softener hooks up to shut.

Oh, and I live in Kalamazoo Michigan.

On an unrelated note, I almost cut my nuts off taking a shower the other day.  i was shaving that area when the light over head just blew up.  Seriously.  It blew up, and sparks and glass flew everywhere.  Only a few sparks came over the shower curtain, but it startled me so much that I ripped my razor away from my nads barely missing a critical and life-altering injury.

I'm just saying is all, man. I live in backwoods California in the middle of nowhere, and the tap water here is crystal clear. Then again, I can drive 15 minutes and I'm at Pismo Beach, so maybe that has something to do with it. Or not.

Yeah Evian tastes the closest to pure well water i've found. I lived on a farm in ND for a few years and we had a fresh water well all to ourselves. So good.

WELL SHIT I GUESS IF THE WATER IN NY IS CLEAR THEN THAT ABOUT WRAPS UP EVERY OTHER CITY ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. GLAD PENN AND TELLER OPENED MY EYES

Feeling hostile?

When visiting relatives in Kansas (my family is a bunch of uneducated redneckers lol) the town's water all came from the same main, and no matter where you were the tap water had a light-brown hue to it. It's not unheard of for the water to be terrible in some areas.

I remember as a kid going on a hiking trip into the Lakes with school.

We were all made to drink water from a wooded hillside stream - we walk up about another 50 meters and theres a dead sheep in the stream!

lol - cue lots of kids in tears.
