I mean, they're a guilty pleasure for me now, but potentially they could actually make a legitimately good record.  They probably won't, though.

I only listened to their second album, but they are going for the incorrect production style.  They seem to be going for a modern, clean sound, which doesn't serve to give their kinda basic instrumentation a sound that makes them sound distinctly special.  They just come out sounding like, well, generic modern rock by some people that listened to Interpol.

I am thinking of becoming rich and famous just so I can use the money to start a new 24-hour coffee shop that doesn't play this shitty radio station all through the night
