Title: What do we think of the BMW X6?

As much as I'm annoyed by this 'four dours but its a coupe LOL' trend, especially when applied to an SUV, the vehicle's really grown on me. Looks way better in person and in video than it did in its intro pics.

Though it seems like it'd make more sense as a cheaper, smaller X4 to me.

I'd post a link to its page on their site, but doing so just crashed my browser and I had to retype this thread. Hard to find good pics to post since the vehicle is so new and I haven't uploaded my car show pics yet. bmwusa.com

How much is it?  If it's $50,000 or more, I'd probably go with a Porsche Cayenne instead.  BMWs are nice but Porsches drive even better.

The cayenne is a travesty to the Porsche name. Same goes for the boxter.

I'd get you pricing but their shit site crashed again. It must be more than the X5 if it's called 6.

But yea, I don't want some FWD-biased tuned-up microbus. Give me an SRX plz.

Boxter is actually better than the Carrera in some ways.  Porsche just gimped its engine because it's not the high end model.

The Cayenne is an excellent SUV as well although I would have preferred that Porsche didn't make SUVs.  

The increased revenue from mass market cars have allowed Porsche to have even better R&D so I guess it was a good thing for Porsche fans.

It looks like a fatty version of the 6 series.  Still nice though.

Well the coupe picture is a photoshop hackjob of the CS sedan concept, existing 6, and I guess the X6 tail lights.

I've seen renderings that look different, that was before the CS concept was shown. It's supposed to be a 2011, so don't hold your breath.
