I guess Demi was right about them selling 20,000 copies.

It's a good UT game, it's just that I don't know if anyone really needed a new UT game. The added detail certainly doesn't add much to the experience; in fact, the grungy style is distracting, which meshes poorly with the nature of the game. $29.99 is sort of tempting though.

You're right, way too much visual clutter :(
It's a good game though. Some of the mappers out there are really starting to shine with some amazing-looking and playing maps.

They should make Star Trek:Elite Force 3 with some of the UT3 assets. The pics TVC posted seriously reminded me of those games.
I'm not a Star Trek fan either, having only watched a few episodes of Next-Generation and 2-3 movies but the whole Borg storyline is pretty cool.

yeah, i played it the afternoon i got it
it's okay, but i don't even play the mp games i have now

I'll pick it up eventually, but I'll probably wait until it hits $20 (or better yet, $13 Clearance at Target, maybe!)
