wii wheel sounds like something a child would say to describe how the 'nice' old man touched him.
Wii Wheel = We Will; as in We will buy this game. A little play on words, a bit of subliminal advertising. Nintendo knows how to sell games.

It seems Nintendo outside Japan is totally incapable of making a good ad (many in Japan are probably crap, but some are good). I went to find this neat Majora's Mask commercial from Japan that I remembered:

The reason you see gameplay up front in the Japanese commercials is because videogames are more culturally accepted there. No matter how many games we buy in the states, the majority of americans are still shamed to be videogame players.(just witness the self loathing that fills up this forum) So you put less of the videogame in the commercial, abstract it or make it 'realized' and sort of hide the reality of it being a videogame. They don't show people having sexual troubles in bed during a cialis commercial. Same idea with videogame commercials: hide the shame at all costs.

The first commercial that doesn't use that shitty 'Wii would like to play' schtick, and they utterly botch it up like this? smh indeed.
