If you found 50, there're probably more.  AVG is no longer the best solution for spyware.

spybot 1.52 says there are no threats.

What's a good free anti-spyware software for Vista?  I'd prefer a 64 bit version.

I'm kinda leery of Windows Defender since it never detects anything.

ActiveX has been neutered for a while now.  If you are still getting spyware via ActiveX, it's because you are allowing too much shit access via those yellow bars that pop up on the top of browser windows, requesting permissions.

I use Ad-aware and Spybot.  I usually run them once a month or so.

see if it support 64bit.

@tvc, well i usually browse safe sites via IE7 and all the sex/whatever via FF so i dunno where these came from.

and AVG is know for false detection so all this could be bullshit.

ActiveX is one piece of shit.

SilverLight or whatever the fuck it's called is another.

So let me guess this straight: 99% of businesses and marketing world uses FLASH. Even Microsoft uses flash on some of their Tech Sites!

Yet now, MS decides to make their own, shitty flash called Silverlight.

FUCK YOU MICROSOFT IT WON'T CATCH ON, NEVER
sigh, silverlight isn't like activex and it's better than flash, at least v2.0.

Does Registry Booster work?  The Spybot site tricked me into downloading it while I was trying to get Spybot.
