Listen to that track. If you feel comfortable dismissing SFA as some goofy/shitty/untalented band after listening to that, then I'll accept your mindless criticism of my superb taste. Otherwise, give good music a chance before blithely dismissing everything I say. I know I hate Radiohead. I've listened to all their albums. I know they're not a good band.

Super Furry Animals are alright, I guess. I don't get the comparison here though...shock value of saying band X > radiohead? They fill two very separate roles for me.

They're both British bands that make very technical pop music. I think that SFA fulfill the promise that Radiohead has. They know how to cross genres within the pop formula and remain surprisingly coherent and tasteful, while retaining a sense of humor and, occasionally, emotion. I guess they haven't released an album as coherent or masterful as Radiohead's best, but I prefer their discography.
I got off on trolling threads about SFA because I actually used to get angry when people dismissed them as a cheap gimmick act whose one second was up in 1997. I'm older now, so I really don't care. It's just funny to bring up. Plus, I like talking about SFA. They're a fun iband.
