Target: TERROR for Wii.
I am a huge arcade gun shooter fan and I cant really find any fun here.
+pros+
+ its an arcade gun shooter
-cons-
- its not a good one
- links crossbow training, resident evil gun survivor Wii, House of the dead and Ghost Squad are al MUCH better choices.
- no calibration option and the default calibration aim is away off
- music would only be good if there were slappin porn asses on the screen
- the enemy character animations :(
- same 3 doods and some Dreamweaver slut dressed like terrorists looking silly....the game makes you feel like you are shooting non convincing trick or treaters on halloween
- the shooting just isnt fun at all
- no vibrations when shooting, but excessive vibrations when you are hit by a bomb/grenade that are so severe it cant be good for the Wiimote. they make it vibrate harder than any other gae where it makes more noise than anything - soinds like your wiimote is giving off a cellphone vibro-moo sound.
tomorrow I will be giving this away and not looking back.
I should have played MArio Kart instead of this.

You bought a game called "Target: TERROR" for the Wii with a cover that looks like this:

and a game that looks like it came from the 3DO:

It's your own damn fault you didn't see the warning signs a mile away. Now go soak yourself in the tears of your stupidity. :wag

Its made by the guy who made Area 51 i think. Got that working for it.

what a disappointing thread
you know everyone was expecting gta4 when they clicked it :wag

If it had actually been a good port, it would have been worth it. Target: Terror is fun. Cheesy fun, but hey - Eugene Jarvis knows his cheese better than most.
Sadly they somehow fucked up the port which makes it go from shitty-in-a-good-way to just plain shitty.
Hey, Segata, good to see you here man. I agree, a competent port would have been the shit, instead of just the shit it is now.
I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience. As a light gun fiend, I was also looking foward to Target Terror, I came thisclose to buying it, but a cursory look at the instruction book revealed nawthing about calibration, so I walked. Then the reviews hit, then I read this thread, and now I feel better about my inaction. Shame about your lost money, hope the trade in value is still okay.
If it makes you feel any better, I bought Escape From Bug Island on the hope it would be cheesy fun :duh

This looks amazing.

IIRC it (or at least the original arcade version) was made by Eugene Jarvis of Defender/Robotron/Cruis'n USA fame.

But unlike the area 51 arcade version, that my local theater still has btw, this game sucks. At least with the Area 51 game u had decent fun.

I was honestly dissapointed that you can't turn the targeting icon off, like in the Sega shooters. I guess I'll be sticking to House of the Dead, then, and picking up Ghost Squad in the meantime...

it's alright, abrader, i bought the wii itself which is a much more magnified disappointment overall
