Haha. No harm, no foul. The short version goes like this:

I graduated and worked a shitty job for 8 months. I met my wife. She was going out to Illinois to do her graduate work. I quit my job and moved out with her. I had to take whatever work I could find because we were car-less and broke. Then we moved back to New York for the summer to be closer to the Peace Corps for interviews and paperwork and the like. We were only around for 2 months, so I took whatever I could get again. Then we were back in Illinois, she finished her coursework, I flipped burgers, then we got married and took off for 6 weeks wherein I got Malaria, but had a good time. When we got back, the Peace Corps told us FUCK YOU because they're an understaffed, bureaucratic organization who can barely clip their toe nails without an 8 month waiting period and now we have reasonable jobs where we make more than we ever have before, although less than people who hold 3 degrees between them should. Oh well, it's a start, yo.

14 an hour? When you break down my hours, even though I'm salaried I barely make minimum. 9 hours a day, 5 days a week=45 hours a week*50 weeks (Subbing 2 weeks for vacation and odds and ends)=2250 hours, 11.11$/hr. That's actually not so bad. I lied. Still less than McD's.
