Title: Day one of vacation. Damage: 400 dollars.
Post by: TVC15 on May 01, 2008, 08:38:17 PM: So it is day one of my long-awaited vacation. I just stopped by the dumpster to toss out some garbage, and I accidentally let the lid close on my hand. Since I wasn't expecting it, I kinda stepped backwards quickly, like you do when you are trying to get away from something. Backing up, I tripped on a concrete parking block, fell backwards, and hit my head on the fucking bumper of a car. I don't think I was unconscious, but I was definitely down for a few seconds because I conked myself pretty fucking good.

I picked up my glasses, which had fallen off during the tumble, and now they are all scratched up. These lenses were 300 bucks, and the scratches are front and center, and always in my line of sight when they are on. They are now fucking useless.

When I fell, my ipod also fell out of my pocket, and my 100 dollar Sony headphones broke. Well, at least the left one did. What a fan-fucking-tastic vacation :( I want drugs.

There's only one way to know. Go to your place of business, and talk to the hot receptionist. If she finds you attractive and funny, then it's definitely a concussion, seek medical aid immediately.

Well, the glasses are just about (or slightly over) a month old. Maybe they can just, I dunno, buff the lenses? I'm going to go there tomorrow and see.

It's not a concussion. I've had them in the past. I'm fine now. Just needed a nap. Had a dream that like, featured Magritte's Le Liberateur. Bizarre.
