You have until midnight, west coast time.

THE ORPHANAGE! The end makes it sooooo worth it. You will actually say "Awesome" out loud.
-
Have you weighed all the options? I mean:

So does the Orphanage rely more on an awesome atmosphere to unsettle you rather than make-you-jump scares? Like say, Ring?
If so, I really need to get it.

Ooh, Flesh for Frankenstein, it's been a while since I've seen that and Warhol's Dracula. Not really great films, just strange and bizarre to watch. I don't quite remember Coffy that well and haven't seen The Orphanage yet that so my vote is a tie between Straw Dogs and Devil's Backbone. Devil's Backbone makes an excellent companion piece to Pan's Labyrinth as it contains similar themes and tone, but if you're not up for the subtitles this evening go with the Peckinpah.

I think I've seen "Flesh for Frankenstein" before. Did it use to go simply by "Andy Warhol's Frankenstein" ? ???
Or is it a sequel?!
I voted for it in any case.

Yep. It seriously has some awesomely creepy moments. There's nothing really frightening in the movie like "BOO!" Instead you kind of are just put off the whole movie

frankenstein isn't as good as dracula, but it's still entertaining.
the devil's backbone is really good. and i wish that del toro were still making films like that
coffy is excellent but you should watch Cotton Comes to Harlem. Unless you're just looking for the cheesy super exploitive black cinema experience. in which case you should watch Shaft in Africa. Which is, really, still quite good as a film.

Too late, but Network was the obvious choice.

Orphanage is out already? I must see it.
I saw Coffy at 2AM, in an RV during a camping trip about 10 years ago. To this day I doubt I've experienced a harder boner
I would STILL fuck Pam Grier

Mmmmmmmmmm.... that sounds good. It doesn't seem to be out in Australia yet so I'll get it the next time I order something from the US. Thanks dude.

I just watched The Orphanage and it was absolutely fucking fantastic. Definitely not what I expected
