knytt is weird.   I don't think I understood what to do-- you just go around collecting parts for your ship, right?   and if you die, you lose all the parts?  it's also proof of concept for the "games are art!" crowd, right? because you can't talk to anyone and it has simple graphics? 

I have lots of questions.

It depends on the game really. Knytt is mostly about atmosphere and exploration. Sort of a Metroid Lite where you collect powerups to reach new areas. Each game has a different story and goal, but both of those are intentionally vague.

My two favorites are "An Underwater Adventure" (for being a cool little mindfuck) and "A Strange Dream" (for an immense and well designed world). It's a very laid back and relaxing game that is simply there to be experienced rather than picked apart.

Cool.  I'll have to play them someday soon.

Knytt Experiment looks like it could be cool. The only downside is that its a bit all over the place due to different people being able to input levels. It could get pretty big though (world size)
