Sometimes when I play PS2 games, the screen gets split with the bottom half of the picture at the top of the screen, and the top half at the bottom - like a partial rollover. I'll often have to eject and re-insert the disc and start the game over several times for the picture to correct itself. It's annoying as fuck. Anyone know what could be causing this?

game settings?
-
I think I finally figured it out, I have to set my display at 720p when playing PS2 games. It doesn't do the "split" on that setting.
-
What isn't wrong with it?

:piss GTA IV :piss2

Okami upscaled looks awesome, and even though it's a 4:3 game setting it to full screen doesn't stretch it out too much
what a cool game
:bow Okami :bow2

and blu ray :P

Yeah thats good too. Shame about that PS3 library tho
-
this is a genuinely beautiful game, my favorite so far out of all the B2G1 games I got this weekend
the only thing i don't like is the gibberish voiceovers, they're already annoying
-
u kan skip them in wii version muhahaha. I didn't mind em that much. I dont see how its different from the stupid beeps of rpg text.
-
sony's problem this gen is the weak support of japanese games, i bought my ps1/2 for japafag games like final fantasy or whatever but instead we are stuck with resistance and uncharted here.
-
360 is a far better jappafag console of choice so far.
it would be a flawless victory is someone would man up and release idolmaster outside Japan.
-
itd be a flawless victory if Japanese people bought 360s :/
-
i never played that many rpgs, so i never got used to the annoying beeps and bloops in place of dialogue
the only ps3 games i own now are warhawk and folklore
and some psn games that were on sale for $4.99 a while back -
calling all cars :(
flow :-[
and everyday shooter :)

better marketing and a new small redesign will help with that.
