So I want to set up an NAS server. Somewhere that I can backup information over networks easily. or if possible, I want to be able to mirror a server hard drive completely (our master server).
I've been looking at the Cavalry CAND3002T0

Can anyone recommend me better hardware and/or software to help me do this?

Mainly doing SQL backups to the server. Some hosting of files for network access of the servers.

Well we have a Dell Poweredge as our Master server and we have 8 regional servers.
Currently our Master server backs up onto a tape every Wednesday and the regionals partially replicate to the Master and we back each of them up on a remote server. But it's kind of an archaic way to do it. We have a service contractor, but they're kind of worthless and it doesn't look like we'll be able to convince management to let us change anytime soon (maintenance contract issues).
And due to some recent issues, we're looking for alternatives. Our main concern is the Master server. The regionals can all be restored (albeit with a little work) without much loss. I want to be able to image the Master server and do SQL backups of the regionals.
So it's possible with the NAS I linked to?
Thanks for all your help :)

We'll be running the software from the actual servers via VNCon (except the local servers which we simply control via KVM). Sounds like it shouldn't be too much of an issue then. Thanks!
