I'll be moving in to my first apartment in a couple of weeks. I was just wondering on average what you guys pay for things like electricity, water, waste, etc.
Also, I've been shopping around for internet and it looks like the only provider in my area is Time Warner. I'm thinking about getting
5000 KBPS Down
384 KBPS Up
$30 per month for the first 6 months ($45 after that).
Is that a complete rip-off? I'm a total internet noob. Will that work well for things like Xbox Live and streaming video? What do you guys pay for internet and what speeds?

Winter GAS: 350-600 depending.
Summer GAS: 30-70 depending.

2500 sqft. house in mild weathered North Carolina-I pay $150-$200 electricity, $50 for water/trash, $35 for cable internet, no landline phone and no premium dish/cable internet service.

Frag, got room for one more?
-
Nothing. They're all included in my bill. I don't know why I posted this as it helps nobody.

QUADRUPLE check your first month's electricity and call to confirm. Nearly everytime I get my first bill it's like 4x what it should be and I have to call to get it fixed. Like I should be paying 100 bucks and it comes out to 300.

Electric and gas: 40 bucks
Internet (Cable) 30 bucks
Apartment, so no water bill.

It feels good to say you pay nothing, even if you pay it in some other way. It's OK to admit it.
You selfish prick.

The way I see it, I'm wasting money by not using as many of my utilities as I can at once. At any given moment I'm running all four burners on the stove, I have all the windows opened with the thermostat set to 55 degrees (13 C) and I'm running every faucet at max capacity.
