1. Arts ARE important. Arts spawn everything you read, listen to, watch, etc. Arts isn't just paintings. For me, it's anything creative.
2. Guns definitely fuck things up a whole lot more than they help. See: thread on the dumbass redneck who mistook his son for a turkey. Also see: Dick Cheney hunting debacle. Plus the fact that when there was an assault weapons ban the violent crimes rate in this country fucking tanked to low levels while the media glorified school shootings and made things sound a lot worse than they really are.
3. I live in America and get to see my dumbass country plan to build golf courses in Iraq when that's the least of their problems. It's hard for me to cherish something whenever they do this shit.
I would love to learn how shot a pistol, rifle, and shotgun someday.

Thomas Paine's Common Sense ignited the American revolution.
I live in Louisvillle, and the state of Kentucky consistently fucks over Louisville. Only about 10% of the city's tax money coms backt o the actual city. The state cut a bunch of shit from Uof L's budget, including dorm repairs, the medical campus downtown, among other necessary maintenence. Meanwhile, the good ole boys gave U uh K a much bigger budget - in typical bumfuck redneck style. The state government wouldn't convene early before the end of last year to approve U of L building an expansion to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Mind you, this expansion is not taking a cent from the state goverrnment budget, but they have to approve a project this big whether or not they are contributing money or not. But no, they didn't convene to approve it, so its costing U of L another 10 milion to do the expansion because of inflation. all because the lazy ass state government wouldn't convene again to prove a point or something to former governor Fletcher.
Beshear propose building casinos to provide much needed tax money for the depleted state budget. The response of the state sentate/house? Denied. Beshear proposed raising the cigarette tax by 25 cents - where the cigarette tax in Kentucky is one of the lowest in the entire country right now. Denied. Hey, building casinos is immoral and raising taxes for cancer causing products that raise health insurance for everyone when they get sick is proposterous! But yeah, lets cut the funding for higher education and let the poor college students have their tuition raised AGAIN for about the 7th year in a row by another 10%.
Another stellar job you fucking ass backwards rednecks. I'm glad i'm fucking graduating Saturday. :maf
