There's a new DS RPG (by Square Enix?) called Avalon Code and I think it might be might by the guy behind FF4DS - I'm not 100% sure though. This is easily the best looking 3D DS game I've ever seen, I honestly can't believe how good it looks for a DS game. Maybe it's the shitty feux-scans speaking.

It looks kind of like FFCC:RoF but with cleaner textures and proportionate characters.

Yeah, Matrix is developing - it probably uses the same engine as FF4. Looks nice.
Will try and pick up the mag today and scan it tonight.

Thanks. That's what I thought, this must be that DS game that Takashi was talking about in Nintendo Power.

Man, Square Enix is going crazy with original IP's, I'm loving it.  :D

Is it a dungeon crawler?

edit: wait Marvelous is the publisher? huh.

Layton 3 ad - could anyone translate?
http://i28.tinypic.com/2rvzlg5.jpg

The ad shows a shadow of a person saying "In the next game, I'll be featured", and the "puzzle" says that in the 3rd Layton game, there will be a super famous person chosen to guest voice a character in the game. Who might it be? To find out you have to catch the first Layton 3 TV commercial that will premiere on 12th May at 10:20pm on FujiTV, KTV and THK. It will also be put on the official site.

Awesome, Jonnyram actually bought Famitsu this week. :)

I buy it every week, but I've kind of lost the impetus to go out of my way to buy it early recently.
But enough of that - how was the anti-moire filter compared to the usual scans? Is it worth the extra scanning time?
it's much, much better alright.

worth it? that depends on your free time.
