Does the old Xbox adapter work on the 360?  I've seen them for $30-$40 at Fry's.

I doubt it. I would imagine MS wants as much money out of you as possible.

I know setting up my 360 through my laptop was a lot harder than with the original Xbox.

i have a media centre vista laptop and it fucking sucks.

much easier streaming through wmp11
