Title: wip website, do you like the color scheme
Post by: Vizzys on May 12, 2008, 06:47:30 AM
hello evilbore, I have been making a website from nothing, and have struggled up till this point to make something halfway decent

below is about my third attempt at a website which is probably 10% complete and basic, but anyway I was wondering if the colors were good because I picked them from scratch and is easily the most controversial thing in my mind when it comes to website design. I started with a white site and have decided light websites suck heh

here it is in all its filler text glory:

easy to read text and such? be gentle

i don't like text over a black background especially because the text is grey.

but hey, i am no web designer so...lol

and it's easy to read at my res. 1680x1050

just remembered this thread

i don't like text over a black background especially because the text is grey.

but hey, i am no web designer so...lol

and it's easy to read at my res. 1680x1050

wow even at that res?

thats good to hear because its definitely going to stay fixed width, i thought about making it wider but It will have little content so i figure why have wasted space

the grey text at the bottom was pink but I thought that would be adding one more color too many, it will probably switch over to blue. Im probably going to make the site bigger vertically anyway for more space there
