Did they combine the Soul Calibur and Rumble Roses franchises?  The character designs in Soul Calibur 4 are terrible and embarrassing.

if you are talking about the original characters (like Ivy) it gets worse with every game.

if you are talking about the guest characters (like the scan above) it's not from one but many manga artists so the quality differs.

I've disliked most of the guest character designs so far, but I actually really like this one. Also, if you look around the joint of her left arm, it looks kinda mechanical. I bet she's a robot. It would explain how she hefts around the giant cage of a dress...not that anything in SC makes a lick of sense.

*edit - I totally missed all the GEARS SHOWING THROUGH HER MID SECTION before. Definitely a robot.  :lol
