Title: black hawk down is pretty good

entertaining as balls.  i'm bored by most war movies and didn't hear particularly great things about this one.  But it looks awesome in HD and is pretty entertaining the whole way through.  and outside of the opening credit text, it's not full of america fuck yeah patriotism.

Definitely one of my favorite war movies.  So intense.  I've gotta watch it in HD.

Should I buy this and The Rock on Amazon for $30? I told myself no more Blu-rays until I can watch them on something other than a 17" laptop, but I can't help myself. :(

when i have a ps3 next month (:bow mgs4 :bow2), the first blu-ray i'll buy will be blade runner and i'll watch it on a 30'' sdtv :'(

That's what i thought when I got my HD Display 22inch Monitor. Then I got my 37inch HDTV

I have a 30" SDTV too, bud, and my DVDs will look the same as your Blu-rays

DVDs look aliased on my 1680x1050 15" monitor.  I'd imagine they look even worse on his 17" 1920x1200 display.
