I've been thinking about trading in GTA4 after I beat it for this...
-
old.
-
So should I get NGB and play it before I get NG2, or am I okay just jumping in when 2 comes out?
-
should be ok.

Read a terrible news story saying no demo until the day the game comes out.

During a Q&A session at today's Spring Showcase, our own Parris Lilly (co-host of Remember When and UncleGamer Radio) asked when we'd be seeing a demo for Ninja Gaiden 2. And Tomonobu Itagaki, lead designer on the game, head of Team Ninja, wearer of sunglasses, THE MAN himself, had this to say:
"June 3rd".
... wait. A demo coming day and date with the release of the full title? Well, beggars can't be choosers, I guess. We'll take what we can get. :)
though official us site still says may:

Another important thing that I'd like to note is unlike the previous Ninja Gaiden, in Ninja Gaiden 2 once you've completed the game on a difficulty level with all your weapons, you'll be able to start a new game on the same difficulty and keep all those weapons. So if there's a weapon you haven't got until later on in the game and you want to use it right away you'll be able to do that in the second play through. We think that really helps with replay value as well.
VideoGamer.com: Can you tell us about how many levels are in the game and the various locales?
there are 14 chapters in total and those take place in various locations around the world.

you wanted new game+ Draft and here it is.

Fucking AWESOME.
That is seriously tits. Makes replays so much more fun.

I am seriously gonna stop looking for a NGB disc and just clean up the 360 fridge so I can do that 6 gig download. I'm not touching 2 til I have at least played through 1

i just hope they thought of this well and designed all levels with all weapons in mind.
what i mean is that, the very first level will be hard because you have no combos and just one weapon but if you are overpowered with all weapons it might break the game, right?
that's why i loved the extra missions in black, you are limited to whatever weapons/items they gave you, makes it a real challenge.

Considering how much effort Tomonobu puts into balancing Ninja Gaiden, I wouldn't be shocked if replays were balanced against you having all of the weapons from the start.
This might be pie in the sky talk but that just seems like the kind of thing my man would do.

Awesome! I spent a lot of time grinding in NGB to get Unlabored Flawlessness but barely got to use it before the game ended. Possibly this will add a new level of challenge - doing the whole game with the UF (if it's even in NGII).
