Parachuting bears.
Holy shit.
What'd you think of C&C3, MAF?
-
It was fun, definitely better than C&C2. RA has always been where I wanna be tho, I love how absurd it is.

The first C&C (hell, the first RTS) I played was Red Alert, so the series holds a special place in my heart. Not to mention both the installments so far have been awesome, as opposed to the C&C2 you refer to.
-
C&C2 was just a confused game. C&C1 and 3 were pretty good. Oh and Generals and its expansion were awesome.
-
Too many PC games to play!
Yeah, I never got Generals because it came out when I didn't really have a computer. And C&C3, I had a shitty one.
I know my friend who had it thought it was awesome.
Anyways, RED ALERT 3 WOOOOOO

C&C Generals and C&C Zero Hour are worth the few dollars spent to buy it these days, you can just buy the big decade pack too.
-
Game still looks like Generals/BFME++, but that's fine by me.
One interesting thing that they showed in the video was that apparently mining gems is out, and instead the resource collection will be node based. I think they saw that the big fields really made for some insane early unit spamming and fixed resource nodes-which operate as a sort of middle ground between DOW and C&C3-will work out well.

Yeah, I should just get that. My dad threw out my World Domination cases anyway. :(

DOOOO IT!
Keep in mind I couldnt get a few games to run in vista right off, but they were the 'throwaways' (renegade for example)
-
I heard some stuff about the cutscenes not playing too. Did you have trouble with that? The cutscenes were so awesome!
-
cutscenes played for me
-
Sweet!
Hey Frag, you know any insane deals for it, like you did with CoH?

For that C&C collection? The best package is the Command and Conquer Saga pack, which has everything in that 10th anniversary edition plus Tiberium Wars, which is an excellent game. Unfortunately I haven't seen it for cheaper than $40 yet, it didn't get wide release. If you're OK with just getting the 10th Anniversary game, Amazon has it for $27.99 plus free shipping.
Kane's Wrath (the C&C3 expansion) btw is only really useful if you want to play in the RA3 beta. I'll let you borrow my beta account when that starts up.

I hope they pretty up those graphics before release. Right now, Compay of Heroes looks much better despite being a 2 yr old game.

Amazon was my intended plan. I'm fine with just the First Decade, especially if I can get in on the RA3 beta. Thanks. :rock
