Tempted to get the FX show Damages.  Tempted.  Anyone here see it?  I heard good things, but even good lawyery things are sometimes boring to me.  It's on BD and Glenn Close is teh awesome.

Serial Mom?  Really?  I mean... is it good?

Damages is certainly well produced, and gripping thanks to a solid cast. Feels like an HBO level production. I can't actually remember how things played out though, not sure if that's a bad thing or not.

I'll give it a shot.  I know Glenn got the show basically due to her performance on The Shield, and I loved her in that, so I am expecting excellent things due to the transitive property.

Serial Mom?  Really?  I mean... is it good?

Late period John Waters is hit and miss, but I think this is one is pretty solid.  I like it better than his 80s, nostalgia piece movies, at least.  It's funny.  It was in the impulse buy spot so I obliged.

Painkiller is fun stuff.  I should install it again.  I think the last time I played it was when I had an nvidia 5750.

Valkyrie Profile 2 and I paid off my MGS4 special edition pre-order.  It was difficult shelling 90 bucks for that.  This after I swore I would not buy anymore special editions.

Quote
Grant Morrison: The Early Years
by Timothy Callahan

Description:

Grant Morrison: The Early Years studies the celebrated creator’s early career.

Grant Morrison has redefined comics from his trailblazing creation of Zenith, through his metatextual innovations on Animal Man, to his Dadaist super-heroics in Doom Patrol. Along the way, he also addressed Batman with his multi-layered masterpiece Arkham Asylum and the literary Gothic storyline.

This book examines all five works in detail, drawing out their running and evolving themes. Using plain language, Callahan opens up Morrison’s sometimes difficult texts and expands the reader’s appreciation of their significance, creating a study accessible to both Grant Morrison aficionados and those new to his work. An extended interview with Morrison on his early career rounds out the volume.

Zenith is a trademark of 2000 AD. Animal Man, Arkham Asylum, Batman, and Doom Patrol are trademarks of DC Comics.

Sequart Research & Literacy Organization is a non-profit devoted to the study and promotion of comic books as a legitimate art.

I downloaded the demo because of someone talking about the zero punctuation review. I'll probably buy it (only 10 bucks).

Yeah, I should've specified Mars ROVERS -- you've made numerous threads about them over the life of Evilbore. I mean, they're cool, but not particularly so. At least to me. Maybe I should read your threads and links more thoroughly.

Its just amazing what theyre doing, I mean if you consider 2/3rd of all missions to mars have failed, and the rover set of missions have been flawless

Do you think their show is pretty subjective? I think it treats everything very fair.
