Now I realize why MS is pushing Silverlight. They realize they need flash or something better(from what I hear that is kind of the case) on their console. We all know that ain't happening, ever.
The cut scenes are INSANELY GOOD. I thought it was fullscreen video until I saw my personalized character in part of the movie.
Very cool possibilities for future use.
I guess I want Silverlight to succeed now. :lol :o

how do you know it's silverlight?

Because the graphics are processed in engine. I don't think the game is done in Silverlight, but it is integrated to run movies in between action.
Again, my character is way distinct, it's very cool to see a flashified version of my charachter.n It was obvious flash animation, but I assumed it was video until I saw it was interactive somewhat, it plugs into your charachter's physical interface and makes a 2d version of it.
No way in hell Adobe is allowing flash. I should check the credits.

The PA guys say "Flash" in the interviews I've heard / read.

I'm pretty sure they talk about the game engine (they drop the name) and the Flash animators here:

God of War's UI uses a stripped-down version of Flash.
