i enjoyed the demo a lot, I might buy the Full game soon, I hope it's as good as the demo.
-
It's only Thief 3 and no Hitman Blood Money.
Still good value, but not as awesome as it could be
-
Wait you don't get 3? (Hitman: Contracts)
Contracts was probably the worst though.
-
Gaytendo! Nice!
It's "EIDOS Everthing Pack" on Steam. Don't include the 'on' in the "", Borys!
-
Valve should release a Steam-powered home console. :cookiem
-
I think I smell a new GAF topic. :sonic
-
I dunno, DX1, Thief 3, and Hitman 2 for $99 is a bit much.
-
I'm tempted but I already own most of the games on that list. Having everything on Steam would be so convenient though.
-
I don't own any of those games. Is this a limited time deal?
-
PC gaming draining my funds!
:bow
-
20 games for the price of 1 PS3 game and 1 Wii game.
THIS is how you do Virtual Console, Gaytendo.
20 shit games for the price of two, Nintendo owned! :bow :bow

meh, mininova has all that for free

Good:
Thief: Deadly Shadows
Tomb Raider: Anniversary
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition
Not Bad:
Project: Snowblind
Just Cause
Hitman: Codename 47
Deus Ex: Invisible War
Tomb Raider: Legend
Shit:
Conflict: Denied Ops
Infernal
Kane and Lynch: Dead Men™
Hitman: Blood Money
The rest I haven't played in a while like the Commando games, so I don't know if they hold up.
Don't know if it is really worth it.
-
Shit:
Conflict: Denied Ops
Infernal
Kane and Lynch: Dead Men™
Hitman: Blood Money
Whaaa???!! Blood Money was hardly shit. I thought it was the best yet in the series.
-
Legend > Anniversary as well
(I would put both in the Good category)
:btw what's with this eidos love? I thought we were boycotting them? zomg right? lol

Whaaa???!! Blood Money was hardly shit. I thought it was the best yet in the series.
For me the formula was perfected in Hitman 2, so when it came time to play Blood Money it felt tired and boring and I felt there was a bit too much shooting and not enough freedom to choose how to go about the situation. Ok, maybe saying it was shit is a bit much, but I certainly don't think it is great.
Legend > Anniversary as well
(I would put both in the Good category)
I thought pretty much every Tomb Raider game before Legend wasn't that good because of the terrible grid controls, but while Legend did improve the controls, it made it too much of a shooter and less about puzzles and platforming. Anniversary was amazing because it brought great controls to the old style Tomb Raider gameplay that was more focused on puzzles, platforming, and avoiding traps.
-
The ending to Legend is phenomenal, only reason I put it on top of Anniversary.
-
I heard a number for the CS series: 23,000,000
-
It's the 2nd most bought thing on Steam right now.
1st place is... CoD4 after a $10 reduction.
I WISH Valve released numbers for those games & packs sold.
i'd love to see the increase that zero punct had on Pain Killer's reviews. it was largely his review which sold me on CoD4 because my trust of GAF in these matters is about zero.
-
But we all loved it here at EB too! (COD4 that is)
-
What was wrong with Blood Money? I only ever played Hitman 2 but I thought it was pretty awesome (though I got stuck on some snow level and got bored).
-
But we all loved it here at EB too! (COD4 that is)
i actually didn't join EB until a bit after it had been released and there are many opinions here which i place above the collective at gaf
-
behold he finished it in ONE setting.
not to diminish your friend's excitement, but this isn't that difficult a feat
