I'm just playing it with SVid, and it still looks amazing. . .fidelity is up there with Lost Planet. No jaggies or anything.

I hit one zombie in the back of a store and he ran after getting up and got more buddies cause i was baracading myself inside the closet. And the erotica is so fucking hard to get but i got two shots. that 58,000 zombie kills is so doable. I loved every second of playing the demo. Now i feel i spoiled it for myself though.

Oh and nothing beats putting masks on zombies and then calling other zombies to you and see what happens. If they are teddy bears the other zombies (ones without masks) will kill the masked zombies. And watch out for flying hands. I got a crap load thrown at me.

i find it to be a pretty terrible game, frankly the only thing I've liked is the good pastiche of American storytelling by Capcom, but for the rest it really is boring

the novelty wears down fast, rendering the good controls and all the various methods to hit zombies completely useless -- it really reminds me of the hype surrounding State of Emergency, think of the time in 3-4 years where you won't be able to defend the fact that you liked Dead Rising folks

I was sure since months that it'd come to that: a mix of Resident Evil and State of Emergency with unfortunately, just a few cool aspects of the first and the mediocrity and redundancy of the second

and I know that tons of ennemies are rendered on screen at any time, but the pretty graphics in real-time cutscenes look like Xbox 1 graphics when you actually get to play, all the ennemies and environments are blocky, and there's sometimes slowdown when hitting ennemies -- while this is an impressive technical achievement, this sure isn't a pretty-looking game by any means

yeah I know, stop being so grumpy and all that jazz... :(
