What are you guys doing today? I volunteered at a convalescences home earlier today, now I'm at home BBQing with the fam. We're doing some ribs, chicken, hamburgers, etc. Plus we have baked beans, mac n cheese, and other goodies :bow

It's not as much a celebration as it is a remembrance of those who gave their lives to protect the country. Lots of parades, BBQ, volunteering, etc

Now I'm home by myself because my brother is at a picnic, that I had to miss out on because of work, and my parents are on vacation. :(

Ice cream with my friends and boyfriend later, though. :)

Apparently his buddy he was riding with decided to be a hot dog, as most crotch rocket douchebags are, and pop a wheely. He lost control and swerved into the BF knocking him into an oncoming SUV. He broke his leg in 2 places and has a skull fracture. The guy driving the SUV was an EMT and had to do CPR on him til the ambulance got to the scene. This happened Friday night and they were able to take him off the respirator yesterday(Sunday). So I haven't seen my sister all weekend.

Then tonight while I was buying beer, I overheard a convo about how they were camping this weekend and someone got stabbed in the next campsite over from them after a huge fight broke out there. 2 dudes involved in the fight tried to hide out in their campsite and they were like wtf!!! :lol

Everyday is a roll of the dice anymore. :-\
