I like how RTS console releases stay the hell behind PC releases as not to taint their potential greatness. FPS games on the other hand :( :(developers want money.

by developers, i meant publishers as well.I like how RTS console releases stay the hell behind PC releases as not to taint their potential greatness. FPS games on the other hand :( :(developers want money.
Developers AINT GOT SHIT TO SAY, its all publishers
Shitty console FPS made for $4M sells at least 1-1.5M copies. That's $90M vs $4M return of investment.
Great PC FPS made for $10M sells 100-400K. That's $20M vs $10M return of investment.
Guess which pays off more.
I'll trust Ubi on anything they do because of Assassin's Creed
:bow AC :bow2
JUST IN: Crysis will be available on home consoles.
never trust EA, never
ya know, while I don't doubt there are bugs in the game (as there are bugs in pretty much every game) and I don't argue that it was repetitive or the AI was dumb, but what bugs did you actually encounter? because I have played that game for ~20-25 hours and I didn't encounter any game breaking bugs on the 360.I'll trust Ubi on anything they do because of Assassin's Creed

AC would be the main reason not to trust Ubi to get this, or anything else, right. Absolutely pathetic NPC and "crowd" behavior, repetitive tasks and gimmicky highlights all up its bug infested fucking ass, AC is everything that is god damn shit wrong with everything. All that ambition monkeyed the fuck up by a worthless developer. Motherfuckers should be publicly flogged and possibly skinned for releasing such horrendous tripe.
there are nasty game breaking bugs on the last place that got fixed later with patches.are they cool like the wall humping soldiers? that youtube video is the shit
Crytek abandons PC exclusivity (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/crysis/news.html?sid=6190150)
I've played AC for about 70 hours and came across one bug in that time where a guard ran in a circle. I just didn't really find it to be a bug-ridden game. This is a real man!!!!!!!!!
AA - while I think you have great taste (what with loving Dead Space and GRID), we of course have to disagree on this one.:bow :bow :bowASSASSIN'S CREED GOTY2007 :bow2 :bow2 :bow2

Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here?I'm getting pretty sweaty. Let me take my shirt off...
:hump
I was going to buy AC the other day because it was pretty cheap but I ended up buying Chromehounds because it was cheaper.

I missed out on the excitement, but I still played some matches online like 6 months ago. Incredible game!I was going to buy AC the other day because it was pretty cheap but I ended up buying Chromehounds because it was cheaper.
Does anyone still play Chromehounds?
Incredibly awesome game but you really need to be in an active squad to get the Chromehound experience. Summer of 2006, Chromehounds was where it was at. Best online console game ever.
I might like the struggle :-*Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here?I'm getting pretty sweaty. Let me take my shirt off...

Hey, I'm not going to try and stop you. :-*
Nice visual glitches and performance hitches in the official trailer. Insane PC requirements coming right up!

That's probably for the best. Just play Crysis, pretend that it's shit, and you'll hit Far Cry 2 right on the mark.
What do you mean pretend?
OMFG LOL :lol
Far Cry 2 single-player "close to 50 hours"
The single-player campaign in FarCry 2 alone could keep gamers occupied for up 50 hours, says the game's producer, Louis-Pierre Pharand.
We knew, just by looking at the game's enormous free-roaming environments, that it would be big, but 50 hours is epic. You can take a look at the official trailer here.
"Just on single alone, gamers can potentially have close to 50 hours of game play," Pharand told CVG, when we asked if he'd considered adding a co-op mode to the game.
"We decided to abandon it for this instalment simply because of the complexity and size of the game," he said. "Add the Multi experience & the Map Editor... gamers will have their money's worth with FarCry2."
Crysis meets Afrika (lol) meets STALKER (I hope). Looks hot! Hopefully it won't be impossible to run the PC version without such godawful tearing. I've heard the AC port runs really well on PC, so I'm optimistic.
I think it has high min requirements but I've heard reports of 60fps with vsync so I assumed it didn't take a total god machine. I generally assume if a game runs on consoles without vastly downgraded graphics, a good PC should be able to handle at least higher res, v-sync, and greater than 30fps. GRID and The Club demos run much better on my PC than on the 360 (where they're still pretty smooth).Crysis meets Afrika (lol) meets STALKER (I hope). Looks hot! Doesn't that game have pretty insane hardware requirements on PC though? Seeing this run on Xshit 360 and Crapstation 3, I'd certainly assume that my PC should capable of running it at high quality settings, ample antialiasing, with buttery smooth framerate and vsync enabled. If not, then Ubi has failed.
