my problem was how the fps seemed to go into hyper mode during action scenes wtf

but oh yea Chappelle was so annoying in this movie. "rambo wait, let me reason with these terrorists using my christian faith"

I think the only thing thats hilarious so far is the soldier picking up the cloth wrapped in a bunch of trip wire

Also IIRC, when the attack on the base  begins, the woman leaves a kid with no legs or arms or something in the hut, grabs a healthy kid and runs away :lol

Fuck I have to buy this, but Walmart doesn't stock it in store and BestBuy is more expensive. Where did you get it?

They stuck that scene in so simple minded people would feel extra good about the death of an opponent with no characterization.

Just saw this yesterday.  The film looks great in 1080P but it wasn't as exciting as I expected. 

I wish there were more badassery from Rambo, ala the CQC and bow&arrow sequences, instead of focusing on the carnage caused by the asshole soldiers.

Yes it is. The movie itself is ridiculous: blood, guts, death, repeat. It is however the perfect movie to get wasted drunk and yell at the screen during all of the awesome parts ...good to see you back MAF

I saw Rocky Balboa in theaters.  It's my favorite after the original.  This was not as awesome, but still fun!

Watched First Blood for the first time tonight (saw Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III years ago).  It's pretty awesome.  It's totally weird to see the character morph into a crazed, post-traumatic Vietnam vet gone postal to grizzled vet dropped into his element and let loose to ONE MAN ARMY to washed up, cynical war vet with nothing to live for.

Oh, and the first two and the last one are awesome.  Rambo III kind of sucks.

I watched First Blood and First Blood Part II on AMC (in HD!) and rented Rambo.  I wanted to do a Rambo marathon, especially since I haven't seen the original or the latest.

I'd probably rank it 1 > 2 > 4 > Cobra > 3

The movie uses a shitload of CG, all of those 50cal hits are CG. You just don't notice it.
