all i know so far is that the press conference will be a little extended with more questions.
I'm calling Locke in the coffin. He's my favorite character, but it couldn't be any more obvious that the show's producers hate him. Maybe Terry O'Quinn did something to piss them off - like stealing some of the spotlight away from Jack early on in the series. So, killing him would free up more screen time for their stroke-fantasy-boy Jack (seriously, you should hear the way they talk about him on the official LOST podcast), and now that Ben has become the breakout antagonist character they don't really need Locke anymore.
somebody tell me the goddamned ending already so I know what the big fucking plot twist is
don't make me watch this show
I don't even know who Keamy is!

how did they explain the polar bears
are they polar bear robots
Who is they? Jeremy Bentham? Is he they?
The Pixies showed up on LOST? did they play any new material?
Who is they? Jeremy Bentham? Is he they?
No, Dharma. After Ben used the machine, it dumped him out in the middle of a desert. In an earlier episode, Penny found a polar bear skeleton in the desert with a dharma logo.

Charlotte did, not Penny

eliminating a character they spent four years building up with plot promises they had no intention of actually following through to completion

You were full of shit, because you just pulled a name out of you butt that it couldn't possibly be based on what we knew at the time, and then happened to get lucky because Lost writers like to do stuff that couldn't possibly happen. But now that they've shown us Locke dead, they have to show (A) what the "really bad things" were that happened on the island (B) how Locke managed to get off the island (C) why he wanted to bring them back and (D) how he died. That's probably at least half a seasons worth of material starring Locke right there.

i've known it was locke since last year's finale, jeremy bentham was a pretty obvious clue
smh @ naming everyone after random philosophers and scientists
do YOU even watch the show, Molotov? "Jeremy Bentham" was shown to be the name in the obituary LAST SEASON:

jesus fuck, they should make a SNL character based on you - "Mr. Wrong, Expert Authority"
suck 85 dicks, ninthing
those "guesses" turned out to be 100% correct, so I "guess" they weren't really "guesses" at all, were they?
also, don't make me count the things you were wrong about in this very thread
another SNL character suggestion for you - "Mr. Ownsself"
Locke is still on the island though, how could he be on the coffin? True, he could have gotten off the island serendipitously like Ben did, but so far we haven't seen him, and plus it would raise questions like "Hey, how come you were declared dead after the crash, but now you've died again?"
He is best known for his advocacy of utilitarianism, for the concept of animal rights,[1][2] and his opposition to the idea of natural rights, with his oft-quoted statement that the idea of such rights is "nonsense upon stilts."[3] He also influenced the development of welfarism.[4]

So, predictions for next season? The format of the show is going to have to change again. Neither the previous flashback nor the newer flashforward formats will fit in.
At first I assumed that the next season would start with the Oceanic Six returning to the island, but then I realized there were some important details that prevented that, namely that nobody knows where the island is and that not all of the O6 people WANT to go back. So there will have to be some episodes of them working towards getting back. Does this mean the format will be that the "current" scenes are of the island after the O6 leave, and the flashes will be of the O6 fighting to get back? I suppose that makes the most sense, but there are problems. The O6 storyline would be boring, especially since we've already seen a significant portion of that very struggle. In this case, it would be in their best interest to get them back on the island ASAP, and doing this would ruin their flashy structure, since it would kinda suck to have both the current and flash stories taking place on the island.
So, predictions for next season?
TV Guide: Were you disappointed Michael and Walt didn't reconnect before your character died?omg please tell me he was joking
Perrineau: Listen, if I'm being really candid, there are all these questions about how they respond to black people on the show. Sayid gets to meet Nadia again, and Desmond and Penny hook up again, but a little black boy and his father hooking up, that wasn't interesting? Instead, Walt just winds up being another fatherless child. It plays into a really big, weird stereotype and, being a black person myself, that wasn't so interesting.
:rofl :rofl :rofl
Was anyone else taken aback by the remarkable shitstainedness of the CG work? Freighter explosion, helicopter crash, it was all real weak shit.yeah, i even said it out loud when the freighter blew up. it was terrible.
I'm pretty sure that Lost is the best show ever made by human beings.
I just watched the season four finale of LOST.It'll probably switch between backflashes of the moved island (with Lock, the others and sawyer and shit) and the oceanic six.
I'm pretty sure that Lost is the best show ever made by human beings. I really don't know what is in store for us next. I have no idea.
I'm frightened by how awesome the season finale was. Did not see Jeremy Bentham coming at all.
I can't sleep. It's 4 AM and I have a funeral to go to tomorrow. Instead of a friend's loved one, all I am going to be thinking about is Jeremy Bentham the entire time.
Then again, I
-don't watch TV or the commercials and watch them online
-stay away from spoilers like the plagueBest show on television, bar none.spoiler (click to show/hide)so Locke in the coffin was a fucking surprise to me.
I have no idea where the show is going to start in January. Could it be?
-Locke on the island
-the Oceanic Six trying to get back to the island
and who will take the forefront. Will the Jack story take the forefront or how Locke fucked the island be the forefront?[close]
while you guys are bickering, i will hop in the shower and wash off my cum-stained body
hurley peeing in the jungle got me going...
