damn, they're really out in force tonight.  I hate it when this happens, I've been trying to lower my expectations for physical appearance and I'm much happier doing so AS LONG AS I don't keep getting reminded of what I'll never have.   :'(

as a side note, I just googled "hot girl convention" and only got 9 matches.  i kinda expected it to be a ubiquitous cliche among obnoxious doofuses like me.  maybe people have better taste than I thought.

The theatre I work at just did a midnight showing of Sex in the City where all the screens had sold out a day in advance. 98% were female the other 2% were who the hell knows what. They were going apeshit over that movie. I had a huge crowd of girls gather and took at least a hundred (not kidding here) photos of each other in front of the movie poster. It was like Star Wars-esc craziness but for the ladies. Almost everyone was dressed up.

You're right, that's gotta be what it is.  I heard a couple girls talk about getting to see SATC tonight on the way to the coffeeshop; I should've managed to put two and two together.

this would probably be a good occasion for hitting on some of them too if I'd put any effort whatever into my appearance before leaving the house this evening.   :-\

EDIT: I don't believe a guy who is "trying to lower his expectations for physical appearance" will hit on groups of women, regardless of his appearance. Sorry.

I often see really hot girls out on the streets at the time of the last trains at night and I wonder if there are secret bars and clubs that you have to be good looking enough to get into...
