I found this at Half-Price Bookstore today for $9.99, which was a great deal since they have a tendency to charge out the butt for hard-to-find games (they had Persona 1 for $90 :-X ). I've played like a hundred PC Adventure games, but I've never played FoA, for some reason. I had the demo on a disc and played it several times, but I never had the full game. But now I do, and I can't wait to tear into it. The into was pretty funny, it started out like Indy was raiding some forgotten tomb and falls into several traps before you finally figure out that he's actually digging around in his own junk.

its one of the best adventure games ive played

yeah, I went on a psychotic tear - pre-Crystal Skull panning, even! - about how this is the real Indy 4.
One of the best damn adventure games ever made, all three paths are fun - though "Team" is probably the most canonical, "Wits" has some fun alternative puzzles and challenges. "Fists" is slightly skimpy in parts. One thing I really liked was how the same puzzles had different solutions depending on what path you were on - in one path, you might talk somebody out of an item you need; in another, you might punch them the hell out; in the third, you might create a diversion to scare them into running away, leaving the item behind. The mixture of old-and-new content in each path was pretty great.
I was never able to find it for FM Towns while I was in Japan ;_; (I own the FM Towns Indy 3, though)

It was an AMAZING TIME to be a Lucasarts fan and witness the team take the torch from Sierra's hand.
Anyone else used to get the newsletter? It had Sam and Max cartoons in each one. This was before the cartoon. there was a cartoon right? It's funny that I now live right next to where Lucsarts used to be.
-
Yeah there was a cartoon.
This game rocks. I need to put it on my psp along with the other scumm games.

I was 12 when this game came out, and I played it on a computer (486/33) I bought with 18 months of my own saved money.
I thought games would be this good forever.

half priced books is one of the best places for old shit like this. I got BG2, Planescape, Fallout 1 and 2, Sam and Max, and this there.

It's one of the best stores EVER. My recent forays have yielded Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, Pools of Radiance, and Icewind Dale with expansion pack.
-
Oh fucking wait. I can put this on my DS, can't I? It's on!
-
Yeah you can, Gillod!
I dunno Viscen, I heard you could though.
Rumbler: Fuck yeah! I got Icewind Dale from there too, but I have't played it.

my friend was running scumm on his PSP, I played some Monkey Island on it. Dont ask me how he did it though. Havent played this game, although I should as I love point and clicks.

One of the greatest games ever made. I played this and The Last Crusade who knows how many times. I should really play it again.

The amount of cool stuff I've seen at the Half-Price Books near the University of Washington over the years is amazing.
College kids needing fast cash = me getting awesome stuff for practically nothing!

It is pretty good, but I prefer the Zork series, as far as adventure games go.

Just search from ScummVM, depending on your Flash Cart it's either easy or hard, but I had mine running in about 10 minutes.

ScummVM won't run Grim Fandango, it only works with the 2D titles.

Weird, my date last week was telling me about this game, never played it though.
