I went on a 7 mile hike to Lake Serene (out past Sultan, for all you Washington State EBers), so I'm going to be lazy the rest of the day and do nothing. I might play some MGS3: Subsistence later tonight, but a nap sounds really good.

well I spent 3.5 hours yesterday going to and coming back from the Legion of Honor (an art museum) in SF where I had to basically just take a picture of myself somewhere in the museum and then find a renaissance painting to write a report about how renaissancy it is and how their is so much iconography that is meaningless today even though everybody just feels like watching 500 year old pieces of crusty oil and plaster about incorrect human proportions and madonnas feeding babies with breasts that are not proportional because holy shit, the monks never saw any real live boobs on a human.
I have a report on that that I have to finish, and start, tonight. I will watch The Shield afterwards and play videogames and finally finish the box of Fun Dip that I won in Chuck e' Cheese a couple months ago.

I was sitting around bored as shit watching 300 (being bored and watching 300 are related) and randomly got the urge to play RE4. Last time I played this game was in 2005 on the Gamecube, but now I'm playing it on the Wii with pointer controls. Waggle QTEs are horrible. Aiming is pretty good. I really wish there was a way to play with realistic bullet damage. Like, I want to drop an enemy to the knee and slice his head off with my knife as he kneels there.
-
"played" MGS2 for a little bit, went running for the first time in a while, and cleared out some space for my new tv!
-

I just wasted like 90 minutes talking to this girl on OK Cupid
She's engaged, but she works at a game company like 5 minutes from my office and is into steampunk and sexual body mods. She's bisexual and into tats and piercings; she even has a Silent Hill lower back tattoo (Halo of the Sun):

Anyways, it was totally awesome. I taught her about ]Dr. Adder (http://www.streettech.com/bcp/BCPgraf/Media/dradder.htm) and she taught me about The Etched City (http://www.amazon.com/Etched-City-K-J-Bishop/) and both of us were OMG at these books we'd never heard of before. We'll meet for lunch sometime this week. Maybe she'll be a new friend!
